• Have you ever been asked the question, “Why is net income different from cash?” and delivered an answer that was well-received and understood?

• Will you make a commitment to yourself to make a concerted and focused effort to follow a proven system for finding clients?

• Do you have a passion for working with and helping entrepreneurs, CEOs, owners, and founders of start-up, emerging, and medium-sized companies (up to $50 million)?

• Are you comfortable training office/accounting staff to more productively fulfill their roles?  Does this same comfort still exist if this staff has little or no formal accounting training or experience?

• Would your peers and colleagues say you have a high degree of self-discipline?

• Do you enjoy fostering relationships of trust with clients, colleagues, professionals, and others and receiving referrals from them?

• Do you feel that your education, experience, and skills are worth a lot but you are unsure how to properly earn a professional hourly rate as a CFO consultant?

• Are your verbal and written skills at a level worthy of a well-paid executive?

• Do you enjoying educating and teaching others and have you been effective in your efforts in these activities in the past?

• Would others agree that you enjoy educating and helping others and that your efforts are effective?

• Do you frequently use your communication skills to persuade and influence others to accept and follow your advice? Do you want to learn to do so more effectively?

• Do you want more flexibility in your professional life?

• Do you have the emotional, financial, and physical ability to accept that it will take some time to build a practice and, consequently, earn the level of income you desire?

 • Is your spouse or significant other willing to be a support to you while you build your practice and your income?

• Are you willing to make a relatively small investment into the right opportunity?

• Do you enjoy a culture that affords tremendous autonomy with the ability to collaborate with other senior-level professionals?

• Are you concerned with getting paid for your services?

• Are you engaged in any form of social media: blogging, LinkedIn, FaceBook, Twitter, etc.?
